Having a real estate broker represent you when making a large investment requires the knowledge, experience, and attention that all of my clients have come to know. As a real estate broker, I carry a higher level of license and received additional training beyond what a real estate agent is required to have.
As a buyer broker, you pay nothing for my time. My commission is paid at closing from the seller whose agent splits the commission they were already scheduled to receive. I work to get you the best price and conditions on the property unlike a listing agent who is working to get the best price and conditions for the seller.
I also have 29 years of experience in selling real estate, and continue to represent certain properties. Most of the listings I take on are second homes, vacation properties, or properties of people who are working with me on their next home. I have been asked whether choosing to be represented by me instead of a national real estate company/franchise has disadvantages. With today's technology, I believe the answer is no. You can get the individualized representation of my boutique firm while still being listed on all of the same websites. That is because Sullivan Real Estate Group participates in IDX. IDX means that we have access to view all listings and that all my listings are put on “all” real estate web sites including all the franchises.
